$800.00

Capt. Wellman\'s & 1st Calvary Civil War Certificate, Letters, Photos 1865, civil war bibleI acquired thru a storage sale a suitcase full of one ladies family treasures. I have tried to contact the family but with no luck so i am looking to sell this collection because i hate for it to go to waste.  I believe she is or was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution because all the paperwork is in there. she traced her ancestors all the way back to William the Conqueror in 1066. There are several documents in there i believe to be original from the civil war. There is a certificate in there showing that her ancestors came over on a ship to Ellis Island from Germany. There are lots of photos(some are framed), postcards, letters still in stamped envolopes, original documents, certificates, vital records, original war wallet and messenger bag and other souvenirs from the family. There are also letters and documents from ww2. Her ancestor who resided during the American Revolution was John Stone from Rhode Island who served as a Private and Minute Man under Col. Benjamin Arnold in both Gen. Spencer\'s and Sullivan\'s Rhode Island Expeditions. Rev. War service M805, Roll 737, Image 459, W223309Let me know if you need more information.
