Very Rare Type of French Navy M1837 Named Sword1868-1870. Outstanding trulycombat grade heavy and massive qwillpoint blade, most of the 1837 model swords are equipped with parade type blades, hardly suitable for combat.Presented on the eve of the Franco-Prussian War ( 1870-1871), so the likelihood that this sword was used in battles isquite high. No cracks/chips on horn grip, no parts wiggling, some minor wear spots on the blade, the scabbard has no dents but shows external rust.Please see my other Italian daggers.
