German Sword Scabbard BAVARIAN Officer Extra Saber NO SWORD WW1:

WW1 era Imperial German sword scabbard only, for a Bavarian cavalry or artillery officer /extra saber.
THIS SCABBARD DOES NOT FIT THE SWORD I HAVE LISTED BUT IT IS FOR THAT MODEL.
THE LENGTH AND WIDTH OF THE SCABBARD IS JUST SLIGHTLY SMALLER (see last picture)

Overall good condition, straight, minor dents and oxidization, some original finish loss.
The throat screws are mangled.
Fits the more curved Bavarian blade ONLY, will not fit other German swords. Has the distinct Bavarian hanging ring without band.Mouth is just slightly smaller than 1"(24mm) x 8mm (at spine of blade)/6mm (at edge side)
length of scabbard body (without drag) is 33", so will only fit blades less than 33"
