This pith helmet is a very nice example of a first model WW2 German pith helmet dated 1941, maker mark \"ITA\". The helmet itself is slightly crushed on the top but overall in quite good condition compared to helmets I have seen, it\'s very nicely preserved. The helmet size is 56 and has both original DAK shields and chinstrap. This helmet was issued during the north African campaign and definitely has seen its days of combat! Despite its wear, it is amazingly still in good condition. This listing is compliant with regulations and does not promote any hate groups but is a listing based on curating old war antiques and artifacts.
