These are non-Tactical emblems.  That means they were ordered by a member of the Squadron for non-issue within the Squadron.  All emblems were paid with personal funds. 


NSWDG DeVGru Gold Squadron Emblems done in older style, pre2011 style Crusader Lion.  Patches are not I/R reduced, so they reflect I/R light sources.


Large size patches like these are sized for uniform sleeves or plate carrier GRG panels.  Three patch set with Milspec hook sew. On the back.  These patches fit in an approx. 3.25" x 4" patch square.


This rated as "used" unissued condition.


These patches were originally ordered along with ball caps with Squadron logos pre2011 by a Senior Enlisted Team Leader within the Squadron.  He ordered the emblems for "give a ways" during training with other military, police, Tier 1 and Federal units.  All camoflage materials are Milspec cordura from a military equipment contractor here in Virginia.   These remaining emblems were traded in by the original owner with some Winkler knives and axes in exchage for a German paratrooper helmet and other items.  Very few were left over from the initial order. . They are very nice emblems with several hidden features from the original artwork.  No caps are available.  There are a couple styles of the "gold" thread, but these are a yellow or "military gold" thread to collectors or former military purchasers


"Give a Way" unit emblems are made to different detail than Squadron ordered/issued emblems/SWAG.  The differences are slight, but it is the difference from a couple hundred dollars and a quarter of that price.  All these emblems are marked on the back to identify them.


Made as a morale patch here in Virginia Beach, VA using private morale and rec. funds.  Design is copyright protected.
