Gorgeous original matching set of WW2 Army Air Corps Type A-9 Summer Flying Helmet, SKYWAY goggles and H1-ANB headset. This handsome 3 piece set is in great condition and was intended for aviation cadets during the early years of WW2. The canvas summer helmet has been impeccably preserved and devoid of any rips or tears. All of the straps are intact including the leather wool chin strap assembly. Helmet maintains its original labels and size is marked XL. The Chas. Fischer Skyway Desert Dispatch Goggles feature the original Skyway frames, which remain in excellent condition. The goggles have a current two-piece tan cushion, designed for a snug and secure fit without compromising on comfort. The cushion is secured with the original brass-sewn retainer rings and outfitted in olive drab green. The outer frame was recently touched up to cover up minor blemishes. Goggles are equipped with shatterproof lenses, making them ideal for desert conditions. The push-button center bridge mechanism is marked with the iconic “SKYWAY” brand. Finally, we have a fantastic original H1-ANB headset complete with matching olive drab canvas cover and soft chamois ear pads. This complete is being offered at a great price and would make a wonderful addition to any WW2 military collection.
