These were found in the back of a 70 year old warehouse which was once owned by a WWII Pilot. This old warehouse had a number of WWII era aircraft parts in it including these prop blades. They were acquired and sent out for inspection. The blades were found to be in good condition and consequently were overhauled and certified in 2011 by San Antonio Propeller Company. As you can see in the photos, they are packed for long time storage and for shipping to prevent damage. I unpacked one of them to take the photos to show the condition. if you wish to come and inspect them, they can be seen in Dallas, Texas.
Shipping can be arranged for an additional fee of boxing and shipping charges.
I notice some WWII Prop Blades for the P-47, which have been made "cosmetically displayable", but are not serviceable, list on for $7995 for one blade. Here you have a full set of four blades in usable overhauled certified condition. I will not break up the set! They need to be saved for use on a P-47 Aircraft. If a WWII Aviation Museum or collector wants an original set of historic P-47 propeller blades for display, here is the rare chance to do so. These specific Curtiss Electric part numbers 836-14C2-18R1 propeller blades were originally made for use on the P-47N and P-47M Models.
