For your consideration is an Authentic & ULTRA RARE Persian Royal Court Official Ceremonial Dress Uniform, from the era of His Royal Highness, Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. Custom hand tailored to fit Ministers of the Court, such as the Prime Minister. Made from fine wool featuring highly detailed buttons. The beautiful and intricate design is constructed of bundles of stitched, silver-gold plated threads. The photos should speak for themselves. Approximately 75 were made, they were only worn during official ceremonies; the most important being the Persian, Iranian, New Year, Norooz, \"Salam\" ceremony. Very high ranking Ministers of the court, were invited to the palace on the first day of Norooz, to see the Shah, and were all dressed in such uniforms. This is a museum piece!! Unfortunately most of these \"Salam\" Uniforms\" never survived the 1979 revolution. Most were burned or destroyed either out of fear, by their owners, or by fellow family members, after their original owners were executed. Sadly, very few exist. There is a similar frock coat being sale in the US, with a pre sale estimate of $7,000 - $10,000, so given the fact this is 3 piece complete set rather than just the coat, its competitivelypriced.
