Romania/Romanian Army Dress /Parade Dagger/Knife -King Michael 1940. Only used during war years during King Michael’s reign. Original not reproduction.Nickel plated blade and black plastic grips. One of which has the cypher of king michael. The pommel is in form of eagle head with red glass eye insets. There’s a metal lanyard ring on eagle head for a tassel. We don’t have. Cross guard is engraved with decoration as is eagle head. The sheath is the dress bayonet style which is nickel plated steel which has dulled somewhat. Overall length is only 9” and this dagger is often mistaken for a miniature. Nicely discussed in Kurt Glemsers books. No dents or damage but please keep in mind this was an issued item at least 80 years old A rare dagger not often for sale. In USA Study well the photos are best part of this description.
