STORY OF THE 320th INFANTRY published in Germany in 1945, 60 illustrated pages ~ rare

According to Commander Col. B.A. Byrne, STORY OF THE 320th INFANTRY is not a formal history, but a story of soldiers, informal as foxholes in which they lived. It is a record of men who for ten months and in five countries fought the best that Germany could offer. It is a record of men who never surrendered a position or failed to take an objective. And it is recorded for those who made it: the men of THE 320TH INFANTRY.

The illustrated 60 page STORY OF THE 320th INFANTRY has a double-page map in the center showing the route of the outfit, from Normandy to Paris, Metz, Bastogne, Southern Holland, the Ruhr Pocket to the Elbe River, Magdeburg and Zerbst, west of Berlin.

Inside the light blue back cover of the 4-½ x 5-⅞ inch publication, there is space for a photo and personal information of a member of the 320th (name, enlistment date, battle action, etc.), but those spaces are blank in this example.
