This is a good condition WW1 British 1827 Pattern Rifles Sword Named Col KCS Erskine MC 5th Royal Gurkha Rifles. He was awarded his MC for Gallipoli. The blade is a Wilkinson and has his initials of KCSE on it. Made in 1908. Typical rifles guard except for the wreath which is for the Rifle Brigade whom is a allied regiment. The leather storage/transit bag also has his initials on of KCSE. The blade is nice and bright and shows well. Comes with research information on Erskine.
