Up for sale today is an Original WW1 U.S. Army Mounted Cavalry Canteen, Cup and Cover Set. The canteen is pre WW1, as it is not dated. The cup is dated 1918. I see no date or makers name on the cover.

This set is still in good condition, except for the leather strap. The cover does have quite a bit of soiling on it as well. The snaps are in perfect working condition. The interior wool lining is still in excellent shape. Replacement leather straps are available here on . The canteen has a few small dents in it, but nothing terrible. The lid, the cork gasket, and the chain are all in excellent shape. The cup is a little dirty, but it is still in excellent condition.
