Very good condition original WWI Imperial German Bavarian Model 1889 Cavalry Officer dress sword that is maker marked "W.K.&C." on the ricasso with the king and knight heads logo. 34" blade has beautiful original bright finish with crisp etched panels on both sides and the spine. Blade was never sharpened and still has original leather washer at the base. Hilt has nice original bright finish showing a little normal wear. Grip has no damage. Fitted in correct original marked steel scabbard that has original nickel plated finish with minor wear. A nice Bavarian cavalry officer sword for your collection.
