Nikolay Alekseyevich Pilyugin (May 5,1908, Krasnoe selo – August 2, 1982, Moscow) - Soviet design engineer in the region of the systems of preset control of missile and rocket-space complexes, the academician of the AS USSR, the member of the council of the chief designers of rocket and rocket-space technology, headed S. P. Korolev.
Pilyugin - Hero of Socialist Labor (1956 and 1961). The Lenin prize in 1957. Corresponding member of the AS USSR since 1958, academician since 1966. The State Prize of the USSR in 1967. In 1969 he became the chairman of department of the Moscow institute of radio engineering, electronics and automation. Deputy to the Supreme Soviet o USSR 7 - the 10th of convocations. He is rewarded with 5 Orders of Lenin, order of the October Revolution and medals. The name of Pilyugin is named street in Moscow, scientific and industrial center of automation and instrument manufacture.
