Topographic Service/Surveyor insignia?

Greetings! As a Geography student with an interest in Soviet history, I am very interested in finding and eventually getting my hands on insignia for the Topographic Services/Surveyor corps of the Soviet Army... However, I keep bumping into railroad trooper insignia, or things which I have been told as topographic services equipment which is labeled as belonging to Soviet railroaders.

Basically, what is really the Soviet Topographic Services insignia? Do they have any specific medals/decorations for that branch?

Приказом Заместителя НКО СССР № 257 от 22.06.1943 г. были введены эмблемы на погоны личному составу военно-топографической службы.

"This insignia was instituted by USSR order № 257 from 22.06.1943."

Here is my early (M43) example, the M55 version was somewhat smaller.
