hello Alexei! I was browsing the topic, searching the nomenclature of medals; and I saw your doc... do you know where it is now? Because I purchased some years ago a set of docs to Samuel Kostiuk, minister of agriculture of BSSR...

Hello,
Do you know if there is a link between these medals and this document published in 1940.
I see 3 of these documents and none was signed. Do you know why?
There is a connection, but not a direct one; this document was awarded to a participant of the 1940 VSKhV exibition whereas medals were awarded to prize winners.
2 other examples of certificate issued for participation in all-union agricultural exhibition:
the first one is issued in 1940 to Vilshinski Nikolai Matveevich, for economic and organisational managing of the Sochi section of tropical culture.
the second one is issued in 1954 to Chkarupa Vassili Grigorievich, brigadir in n°1 Sovkhoz "Udarnik" , KarsnoArmeesk district in Stalinsk Oblast.
Agricultural exhibitions were too organized at lower level than All-union one. For example, this certificate was issued in 1955 to Svintsistki Nadejda Stanislavovna, working in Kholkoz named Kirov, by the Crimea Oblast.
This one was delivered in 1954 for participation in the agricultural exhibition organized by the Gulkevich district in the Krasnodar region.
Note that contrary to the large majority of diploma issued before the XX congress, stalin and lenin images are absent and replaced by the ussr coat of arms (which will be the rule in 1957, before being replaced by only Lenin in 1958 and after)
