On November 1, 1944, near the town of Elkuzeme, comrade Bondar equipped the communications node of the 67th Guards Rifle Division’s commander’s forward observation post under enemy artillery and tank fire. Simultaneously she carried out her duties as a supervisor of the telephone line leading to the 196th Guards Rifle Division’s commander’s observation post. Under enemy artillery fire she repaired 6 breaks in the telephone line.
