Branch General, Military Internal Service, Minister Of Interior, Prime Minister
#1
Before I start with this one, I have to ask the moderators not to change the title of this thread. Although I am not keeping-to-themselves-kind of person, at the same time I prefer this case to be kept discreet, so that finding this thread by accident remains unlikely for the people from outside the forum. After all, the general’s name can be seen in the photographs.

I don’t own the compleate group, but try to acumulate as much as posible, so this thread is to evolve in the future. However, I know now that some ítems – including the uniforms and most of the pre-1983 awards - are unavailable.

Business cards – from top to bottom: His Wife and his - probably the latest, From 1989-1990 period, when he was both Minister of Interior and Deputy Prime Minister (Vice president of the council of Ministers), Post-1990, as a retired general.

Photographs: From 2010-2015?, As brigade general 1970’s, In civilian clothes, probably post-1983.

let’s start with the ítems that are the most interesting to the fórum members – the Soviet awards.
First we have the ORB – awarded in 1983 and its document.

Than there’s an OPW1 awarded in 1968 – by an ukaz awarding the highest commanders of the Polish Army Soviet Awards on the ocasión of the Polish Army Day – 25 years after the Lenino battle. The general was not in Lenino in 1943 (he was an Austrian resistance member in 1944-1945 in Vienna), but in 1968 he, as a colonel was the deputy chief of the WSW – Military Interior Service, the institution that controlled the MP, military intelligence and counterintelligence. By the way the reasons for awarding the ORB were probably similar.

As You can see, the screwpost has been altered – not sure why, but probably to avoid damage it would cause to the summer uniform of the Polish Army. The award was found in the general’s desk and not on the uniform. That’s why it was available for purchese.

HQ Military Academy named after Voroshilov badge – he studied there, so that’s probably how he got one, but the document is still missing.
