Colonel Petko Nikolov Petkov (Полковник Петко Николов Петков) was apparently a high level Communist Party Of Bulgaria functionary.
His awards are;
1948-09-07 Order "People's Liberty 1941-1945" 2nd Class (Probably awarded on the 3rd anniversary of the "Fatherland Front" for participation in its creation)
1959-12-29 Order "9th September 1944" 1st Class With Swords and 2nd Class With Swords (Probably awarded for the 15th anniversary of the "Fatherland Front".)
1964-06-13 Order "People's Republic Of Bulgaria" 3rd Class (Probably for the 20th Anniversary of the "Fatherland Front")
1970-05-30 Order "People's Liberty 1941-1944" 2nd Class (Probably award for the 25th anniversary of victory over Germany)
1974-07-20 Order "People's Republic Of Bulgaria" 1st Class (Probably for the 30th anniversary of the "Fatherland Front")
1989-05 Order "Georgi Dimitrov" (Probably a 70th/75th/80th birthday present for a "life dedicated to communism" and judging by the hand writing this may well have been self awarded.)
The case is a rather early case which may have been surplus or added at a later date by Petkov or a dealer.
