Thanks again for the translation help. Can I ask for one more! This is a Soviet Proton rocket artifact. It is probably my second favorite of my Soviet rockets.

A nice table ornament - a statue of a soldier.
My question is - is it a miniature of some munument? If so, where is this monument?
It has no inscriptions on it.

Many thanks in advance

Look on page 47 of "Echoes of War" for a photo Paul took. It's of a monument in Nikolaev (now Mykolaev), Ukraine. I have the same statue.

Many thanks!
Than it's another rason to keep it, as one member of my family lived in Nikolayev for quite a long time.
