mcwirsk,
The first one is definitely Soviet. It says "Brothers in class - brothers in arms" on the front and has USSR crest with "Army Group Central"on the reverse. I guess it's some unofficial issue to commemorate participants building military brotherhood amongst Warshaw pact countries. The medals from the last pic look familiar. The one with green-yellow ribbon is from Communist Bulgaria - it's "Jubilee medal 100 Years Liberation from the Turkish Rule". Instituted on Feb 22, 1978. It's first variation of the medal. The last medal may be from Afghanistan or from one of the Arab states (Yemen, Syria, Lybia, etc).

The last is PDR Yemen (South Yemen), the 15th whatever of something - let me start pulling out files....
.... Suspect it is the PDR Yemen "15th Anniversary of the Army Medal". Will try to confirm with friends in Aden. Ed Haynes
