Well, taking soviet medals in and out should not be a problem.
I have heard of someone arrested for crossing border with those chinese "AK47 bayonets made in USSR" for smuggling antiques (into Poland!) and having big quantity of military bayonets, probably for sale without licence to sell them(!). But I have never heard of anyone stopped for bringing soviet awards.

I know there is a market/bazaar once or twice in a month in Warsaw, but I'll have to check when. I will post the date later (today or tommorrow morning).

OK, there's a market every sunday in Warsaw in the place known as "Koło". It is located on the corner of Ciołka and Obozowa streets in Wola district.

I would add that Georgia is also with the Baltics states. No problem concerning the export of Soviet medals from Georgia.

Have a good trip Christophe and ask them if they know Borat.
