Cook - Junior Sergeant Sytnik, Ivan Stepanovich during the battle from the river Oder to the capture of Berlin all the time worked as a cook, managing not only to prepare delicious and good quality food and deliver in a timely manner to the front of batteries of the regiment.

In the same heavy period of combat from the Oder to Berlin, when the food delivery by machine had been stopped, Comrade Sytnik daily two times delivered meals in thermoses. Personally disciplined.

Born 1914, Ukrainian, Worker, Non-Partisan, In Red Army from May 1944. Participant in the Patriotic War from January 1945. Award not had. Wounded.
