Issued to Aleksandr Konstantinovich Sidorenko on 13th December 1951.

A late 1951 issued Medal "For Combat Merits" is almost always a long service award for someone who came in in the first months of the war and stayed on. This naughty boy certainly wasn't get any long service awards for good conduct!

11, Has been awarded (for what distinction), Award not had.

For the time of service in the brigade Guards Junior Sergeant Sidorenko showed himself to be an insufficiently disciplined sergeant. As for military and political preparedness has good assessments.
Little engagement in studying combat affairs, for which he was demoted in position. Had cases of arguing the orders of senior heads. In Cultural-Mass work takes a passive participation.
Conclusion: Worthy of award of the Governmental Award Medal "For Combat Merits", for having been wounded in the days of the Great Patriotic War, but not having a Governmental Award.
Commander of the 6th Guards Heavy Howitzer Artillery Sevastopol Brigade Of Destruction.
Guards Colonel Bondarev
27th March 1949

This is probably the most interesting citation for wounds that I have seen.

I summarise this as "This guy is a dick but he did catch a bullet".
