That's right Eddie, Dietrich did win a cash prize that he donated back to the forum. The Bulgarian section of the forum was created in his honor...now what was that contest about?

Guys,

If I remember properly, the cash prize was $100 that Dietrich donated, as mentioned by Eddie and Art, to the Forum.

If I remember correctly, contestants had to earn a certain ammount of points by sending scans of certain types and variations of awards. The one who had the highest score won the prize.

That's right...I remember now..it was a contest to help get some of the holes filled in the main website's image collection. Higher points went to the photos of the rarer awards.

Not that bad!!! Ha!

I was offered 100 BoH's for $10 each! - I only bought a few dozen
My cheapest Red Banner cost me $15
I have a dozen Red Stars that I paid $5 each

Alexei sold me 10 screw-post base Red Stars for astronomical (at the time) $20 each! and when he messed up the order and sent me non screw-post base Red Stars he told me to just keep them as gift b/c it was not worth the time to deal with returns and my inconvenience!!! (I still paid for them... Really cheap! by todays prices)

Oh, I remember overpaying for my Suvorov 2! I was pissed because Mr. Mx sold his last one for $2,000!

As I said, the good 'ole times!
