Gasishvili, Meri Nikolaevna, Agricultural Produce Worker.

[Bill Garvy]

A recent acquisition to my documents collection from an esteemed colleague, a very nice set of Champion of Socialist Competition documents to Meri Nikolaevna Gasishvili/Basishvili for the years 1974, 1975, & 1982. This 1982 issued document is written in Georgian. All documents were issued by the Georgian SSR Processed Agricultural Products Workers Union.

Very appealing.

For "Processed Agricultural Products" should we read cheese and bacon? or cornflakes?

[Bill Garvy]

Thank you, I was imagining more along the line of high-fructose corn syrup products, ahem. . .

Thinking abut this a bit more sends my mind towards wine.

The flexible name also makes me imagine a Georgian saying "you can call me Ray or you can call me Jay......."
