Here is a membership booklet for the Georgian Society For The Protection Of Monuments Of Culture (Грузинское Общество Охраны Памятников Культуры) issued in 1960 to Giorgi Zinoshis-dze Chik'viladze (გიორგი ზინოშის-ძე ჩიკვილაძე).

Wouldn't historical landmarks be памятников истории? Like the Russian "Охрана памятников истории и культуры"? Why mention "historical" if it is already there?
