Hi Marco,

I think sometimes we over-think these things...I think this was just a standard marking for Soviet Army issued winter gear; no matter what rank, etc. What year it was first used, tough to say, might have been very late, perhaps 1990, but I really think it's just a 'normal' CA stamp.

Well we may never know, it seems everything during the collapse was jumbled.
Im still in the dark with RF uniforms, there are so many of them and its very confusing, I'm just learning about Soviet uniform specifics now and its still hard to remember!
