Ibaya,

I know it is bizarre but OGPW were given to collective farm workers after the war for putting out a fire.

Rusty,

Andrei put the info about Glory for Hungary on his website. If you have questions about his sources, surely he will be happy to answer them for you.

Here is the Order of Glory III that I bought from the grandson of the awardee who passed on several years ago.

Along with this he still had his 1985 OPGW. Unfortunately, the family didn't have the award book any longer.

Not a bad number for $50.00, eh?

Not exactly sure what a 57 RK is (a motorcar?) but it's a very nice order.:thumbsup

Very nice Paddy! :thumbsup

Jeffrey , a RK is a Ritterkreuz, a German Knight cross from 1957. :)

Stopped collecting TR years ago when fakes started to outnumber hideously priced originals. Probably fair trade, then. Now a 43 RK....
What would that be worth in Soviet Orders?
Reply
A 1943 RK, probably $10 000, it always depends.

Hi Patrick, nice OG2, very nice indeed.
Looks like a wartime serial number as well.
Here's mine and his brother :)
