BTW, on another pic, Lenin very clearly wears what seems to be a pin / badge... but not a button, nor a pressing label. :p
Has anyone an idea about what it was ?

I, watching a Discovery Channel documentary about Lenin and Stalin, saw, when Lenin was already dead and dissected, something in his jacket that looked as a Red Banner. I´m almost sure that it was, because the shape was 100% identical. Maybe he was awarded the RB...?

Looks any different to me And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye And the parting on the left Are now parting on the right And the beards have all grown longer overnight The Who, Won't get fooled again

Esteban,
This (on the picture) does not look at all as a Red Banner... and there is a kind of "textile" suspension... The mystery seems total !! Ch.

The rosette ribbon, often seen backing RSFSR Red Banners wasn't actually a Soviet creation. Imperial Russian miniatures had the same sort of rosettes made from the ribbon of the award. Most frequently seen is the St. George ribbon in rosette form. I believe it dates back to the 19th century.
