Christophe,
Funny, that Group was still there maybe a couple of days ago.
The Documents and photos of this same Marshal are still for sale on the other NY dealer's site. I guess if the Group of Awards had been bought, the same person would most probably have been interested in buying this Group of Docs too, so I believe Tal is probably right.

Christophe,
You said there are not so many places where to find private buyers. If some buyer was found in Russia?
The point of puting this group in the first place on the net is beyond me. The main reason could have been to show off.

Tal,
About buyers in Russia; I agree this seems to be the new Eldorado for sellers.
About puting the group on the website, you're probably right; it may be an "advertising" or "showroom" attitude...

Christophe,
First, it wasn't me. Unfortunately, I'm in another leage.
As for the buyer, it's private buyer.
I'm not aware of any Soviet orders awarded to Russians that were bought by institutional buyer. There are a lot of issues involved. Mostly financial and legal.
It's different story for Soviet orders awarded to foreigners (Americans, British, and French).
