Here is an excellent condition early Medal Of Bravery with a brilliant story attached. The Document is rather tired but is key.
#5312 awarded on 7th (Typo - think it's September) 1949 to Martyr Hysen Refati. A posthumous award.
Hysen Refati was a member of the Communist Tomorri Battalion (not the Fascist one) and was one of only 6 martyrs who gave their life on the 21st June 1944 preventing the Marta Pass falling into enemy hands (The Marta Pass is renowned in Albania as never falling into enemy hands in its history).
Refati and the 5 other fallen are now commemorated on an obelisk at the point in the pass where they were buried.
Possibly his "complete" group as he died before he could receive any awards.
