Kutuzov III Group

[slava1stclass]

Gents,

This group recently sold on the well-known auction site. It was offered by the same person who is offering the Glory I with s/n 2174 as seen in the Glory thread. Although he wanted $11,000.00 for the group, he accepted a best offer in the $6,600.00-$8,000.00 range.

I would have been tempted by that grouping. It is worth a mortgage!

He accepted the best offer because Order of Kutuzov is fake. :thumbsdown

[PaulR]

That is a well made fake then. It would have fooled me.

ericlida,

Thank you for the information. The person in question appears to specialize in old Russian coins with the occasional Soviet ODM thrown in. FWIW, he has a 100% positive feedback rating.

[Nota Bene]

That is a well made fake then. It would have fooled me.

With all due respect, it's a very crude cast copy.
