I have run his name and rank, красноармеец, as listed on the Capture of Berlin document, through podvignaroda and have come up with three possible birth years, 1904, 1909, or 1912, judging his age by his picture as shown on his Driver's License, he would have been 30, 25, or 22 in that picture. I am inclined to say 25 or 30. . .
And the beat goes on. . .
Is the signature on the Berlin document Bondarenko?

It is quite strange that his driver's license doesn't have a date of birth or age.
Unfortunately this name is so common it may or may not be any of the men listed on "the site". Maybe some additional information (or item) will present itself.
"Signed with his own rubber stamp"

Tom, your eyes are better than mine. . .
If 1904, then a Combat Service Medal and a Bravery Medal; if 1909, then a Combat Service Medal and a Red Star; if 1912, then a Combat Service Medal, Bravery Medal, and a Red Star, or none of the above. . . |
