hello gentlemen, here're some archives of mine, taken from the 2001 catalogue of a well known NJ dealer...please erase all pics if they're a source of concerns.
The first class of the type 1, first years of the R.P.R.. Extremly rare.
the order and it s document, very simple and austere, a simple cardboard diploma. The Star of Romania was redesigned later in the RPR period, and the 5th class I possess has the same type of doc.
the star itself and the not less rare ribbon!

during the RPR périod, the star war totally redesigned to its most known form, as a nice star. It is a 2nd type 1st class star.
The type 2 variation 2 is identical, except the "RSR" abbreviation in the coat of arms. Very common...We can see full sets for 150-200USD for the five classes.

and now...the diploma from my 5th class, compare to the first pics posted
I think I scanned the picture at a 1:1 scale...so a small document! I believe the RSR (Ceaucescu period) inaugured new documents, i.e. traditionnal and nicer big diplomas, even for cheap medals.
