Order "Tudor Vladimircscu".
#11
Order of Tudor Vladimirescu / Ordinul Tudor Vladimirescu, 2nd class, diplomatic division, type 2.4

Note that this does not have the usual horizontal pin.

With a comparison of the two stars, regular 2nd class and diplomatic. The size difference is clear.

Interesting find:

Quote:Decretul 97/1978, Presedintele Romaniei

pentru rechemarea tovarasului Traian Girba din calitatea de ambasador extraordinar si plenipotentiar al Republicii Socialiste Romania in Republica Populara Mongola si acreditarea tovarasului Constantin Mindreanu in calitatea de ambasador extraordinar si plenipotentiar al Republicii Socialiste Romania in Republica Populara Mongola

and Google-mangled:

Quote:to recall comrade Traian GIRBAU of quality of ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Romania in the Mongol People's Republic Comrade Constantin Mindreanu accreditation in quality of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Romania in the Mongolian People's Republic

Always interesting to see my interests converge.

This is cased and if anyone is interested (and can spare the time from their explorations of the typology of fake Russian boot laces), I could show it too.

Interesting finds!

Can you post pics of the case?
