How different are these from the single volume book? Is there more information?

Dave,

I only saw it on ebay. I don't have it, but 6 volumus are more than ONE (even if the one you have is quite fat book).

These books have fewer people detailed than the all-inclusive red one volume set, but they go into greater detail with a two to four page article on an individual. If I remember correctly, I think the entire series covers 1/6 of all the full cavaliers.

6-volume set was published in 1963 and there were additional Glory Cavaliers in the 1970s.

Therefore the older edition can't include complete list.

To all:

F.Y.I. The complete set is comprised of seven volumes - with the last volume published in 1988. All told, the seven-volume set contains just over 900 biographies which range in length from one to three pages. The quality of the write ups in the later volumes is superior to that found in the first few.

Here is apparently a new set of volumes of all the holders of the Orders of Glory 1st, 2nd and 3rd classes. Any comments?

Looks like a new one I have to get! The same people that put out the Gold Star list said they were going to publish this one, and it looks like they finally did.

If I am reading the listing correctly, it is volume 1 of 12. Is this possible?
