For the ones interested in Ukraine's state awards, there a good reference section on the official L. Kuchma website at http://www.president.gov.ua/eng/presiden...03469.html

You can see pictures of all awards, description and statutes + their associated ribbons.

The site can be viewed in ukrainian, russian or english.

- State Award of Ukraine - the title "The Hero of Ukraine"
- State Award of Ukraine - "The Order of Prince Yaroslav The Wise"
- State Award of Ukraine - the order "For Merit"
- State Award of Ukraine - "The Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky"
- State Award of Ukraine - the order "For Bravery"
- State Award of Ukraine - "The Order of Princess Olha"
- State Award of Ukraine - the medal "For Military Service to Ukraine"
- State Award of Ukraine - the medal "For Irreproachable Services"
- State Award of Ukraine - the decoration "The Presentational Fire-Arm"
- Attributes of State Awards of Ukraine

Here, you can see the awardees as per Kuchma decrees... It seems that these awards are not given to anybody and for anything as it was the case with some soviet awards at a certain period.

I guess the pricing for Ukrainian awards is very expensive. I already looked for them in many Ukrainian cities and no dealers had even seen one.
