I have bought a order of patriotic war 2nd class in a group.

The number on it is 3871217. Matching number on the doc.

But i don't know anything of the person who earned it.

There is on this website a number searching tread but can't use it yet.

If you can give me more info about the person like rank, unit, awards, etc i would be very greatfull.

Many thanks

Have a nice day

Here is all the info for him (These Jubilee Awards did not have citations nor did they give unit information - they were just "thank yous" to surviving veterans and with a common name you often get nowhere)

Rulev, Venianmin Georgievich
Born 1919
Place of birth Cheljabin Oblast, Town of Miass.

I would advise taking some serious time looking through just what has been researched here. This will help enlighten you as to what awards, supporting information, etc is needed to find what result.
