Red Star.
Hi all, is there a way of telling which range of serial numbers this ORS is without having a look at the back? I've looked at the mondov site but I can't figure it out...

Thnx in advance!

This looks like a late post-GPW awarded one for long service or "catch-up".

CtahhR is right. This item was minted between 1952 and 1957.

Thnx guys! Would $50 be a reasonable price? The order looks to be in mint condition...

I would say yes.

Red Star #3058677. Would anyone like a stab at what has been engraved on the reverse?

Red Star #3248064. This one is a good bit lighter than all the others. Probably not quite the right mix that day.

Due to such high demand in Red Stars in more recent times I have only managed to purchase 2 Red Stars in the past 18 months, both in groups (1 long service and one combat - you'll be seeing them both soon enough). I still need another 8 Red Stars to fill my frame!
