I don't have a location at hand, but the division was in the 12th Guards Rifle Corps, 3rd Shock Army, 1st Belorussian Front.

Mate, 23rd Guards took part in the final assault of Berlin in April. In northern Germany before that.

February was a month of consolidation after the offensive in January that took the Red Army from the Vistula to the Oder; 3rd Shock Army was in the area about 50 miles north of Poznan during February. On March 1 it attacked northward into Pomerania against 3rd Panzer Armee, with 1st and 2nd Guards Tank Armies.

Help pls? Looking for the location of the 918 Rifle Regiment, 250 Rifle Division around August 20, 1943. Order of Battle book has no reference to the above.

According to my records:
By that time, the 250th Rifle Division was in the 63rd army on the bryansk front.
On the 20 of August they had just finished the Volkhov-Orel Advance Operation.

11th Guards Army in August 1943.
