Sunlight: Enemy of Cloth
#11
Been a good long while since I've posted, but I can say leaving patches out in sunlight will result in the plastic darkening. I always keep my collection covered up from direct sunlight (and really any light for that matter) to try and prevent fading of the felt and darkening of the plastic. For the few uniforms I have, then reside in my closets with moth balls. If/when the day comes I have a place to display everything, I'll probably put UV shielding on the windows and lights as a precaution. Oh, the joys of collecting :)
