Also found these images. The one on the left, in classic Soviet style, would date from the 50s if only because of said style. The other I'd guess would be a later issue.
I much prefer the earlier look.

I don't know about the left one, but based on the crest at the top of the badge, it's Romanian.

Yup, both of them are Romanian. RPR era on the left, RSR on the right.
