Having become, in its own right, a collectable, I suspect it will be difficult to find and expensive to purchase (and even more expensive to ship). While some of the information has been rendered obsolete (and some can get quite snarky about this), it remains the single best book in English.

It would require some considerable insanity for the authors to consider a second edition in today's economy. Any insane folks around? :p

"Snarky" - darn good word.:thumbsup I say too bad. It's about as pointless as getting angry about Dr. Samuel Johnson's dictionary being a few words short of complete. Does it make the first editions less valuable?

Just as a good point of reference, it is still the most commonly used book in my Soviet awards reference set (though I can see Echoes catching up really quickly.:)

Hey Guys,

Bringing this thread into 2012 like Marty McFly but with a better haircut.

Anyone know of any copies of this anywhere, i'm after one but having no luck. I'd rather avoid E land if possible!

Cheers

They can be found on the used book market, ofdten with dealers who have no clue what the book is. Unfortunately, I guess I can't post any sites.
