NIS02 -- Something Railway?

Given the group of which this is a part, railway-related?

And the document for this.

[medals73]

And the magical incantation on the back that reveals the printing history (?).

[medals73]

8 Guards Army

While this really isn't "NIS" since Paul shows this on p. 20 (upper left), the document might be interesting, especially when compared to the following document.

No printing information.

[medals73]

And another (Similar) document for another (similar) badge.

No printing information here either.

The badge is, however, missing from the group (???).

[medals73]

NIS04 -- Veteran of the 2nd Guards Army

Reverse mirror-imaged, plain.

While we see others for this unit (p. 17), not this one.

[medals73]

NIS05 -- Veteran of the 116th Karkhovskaya Rifle Division

Would fall between p. 42 and p. 43 in Paul's book.

[medals73]

NIS06 -- 50th Anniversary of the Kiev Military Academy in honor of M.V. Frunze (???)

Outside Paul's scope?

[medals73]

NIS07 -- 25th Anniversary of the Soviet Committee of War Veterans

Again, relevant or not?

[medals73]

NIS08 -- Participant in the Victory Gathering

Possibly Kiev in 1985?

[medals73]

NIS09 -- 40 Years of Victory at Stalingrad

Plain pebbled reverse. Very shiney and eludes a good scan. Photo-fiddled for legibility.
