I'm heading to sunny Russia for New Years eve this year (if my passport and visa every comes back...) and wondered if you had any info on dealers there?

Keep in mind it is illegal to take medals and orders out of Russia. If you get caught you can expect to be arrested or pay a bribe. Hopefully the latter, Russian jails are no place you want to be.

I only know one place. You have to go on 17th Juni Strasse and stop at Tiergarten S-Bahn station. It is at the sunday fleemarket. If you need precise information how to get there just PM me.

I also have the personnal address from a DDR dealer and he also does have Soviet medals. The only problem is that he no nothing in Soviet awards and sold me 2 fakes. But he did offer me other awards in exchange.

You can go at his home and look the stuff yourself.

This shop is full of artifacts from all 4 occupying powers of Berlin as well from the former DDR.
