this is a summer walk-out uniform, model 1969, for officer. This is nr1 walk-out uniform, following official rules. If you want to be sharp, the 2 badges seem to be post-ussr fantasy, and the ribbon bars are not in the good order (one of 3 would be sufficient for such a low rank).

I may be flyin' around, but what about the rank itself? One large star on one stripe? Haven't seen that one before

unissued...they got the star wrong on the rank (they used a senior officer star on a junior officer board) and then try to dress it up.

How about the rank "one small star on junior officer board"... I have a pair of shirt shoulder boards in my "miscellaneous" box at home, I got them from a friend who was in the Soviet police. Was there a such rank there (wihtin Militia) or are these boards just something made up as a gift? /Patrik

those boards are fine, small star on jr.officer boards are for a jr. Lt. or naval ensign. DD |
