Communist Beauties - Al-muell - 10-15-2014 Where do the first 2 photographs come from? The first one is somewhat strange if You look at the uniforms and belts - looks like made after 1956. The second photograph looks familiar to me and I have a feeling that I may recognize the formation pictured. Communist Beauties - Bill Garvy - 10-15-2014 The first and third photographs are reprints, and do appear to have been possibly "staged" or to be of more recent origin. They were obtained from the same vendor, and were recently procured at a very reasonable price from a popular auction site, ahem. The second photograph appears to be an older reprint of a news photograph, judging from the photographic paper used, and was obtained from a different vendor. I regret I am unfamiliar with the formation. Communist Beauties - Al-muell - 10-16-2014 I can't find the photograph right now, but I seem to remember seeing this or a very similar photograph like the scond one - it probably shows te soldiers of the "Emilia Plater" Female Battlion of the Polish Army in th East. In the time of unit training, they all got soviet unifroms with just shoulerboards and cap badges changed.
