Translation Help - CtahhR - 03-03-2014 Bulgarians 80% of the time do given name, son of, family name.... Petko is a given... the rest is not.... It certainly does not belong to the person whose rubber stamp is impressed..... If I had to guess I'd say first one excited and second one drunk.... Now here is a true nightmare. Two examples of the signature of the deputy director of "Energoproizvodstvo" in Sofia in March 1992. Clearly an engineer but nothing else can be ascertained from it. I'll track him down by the position later but for now just enjoy this unique autograph. Translation Help - Al-muell - 03-03-2014 Maybe he was a time-traveller from some antient civilisation? It looks more like a pictogram than signature:) Translation Help - CtahhR - 03-03-2014 Every time I see it, all I can think of is this. The logo of the band "thenewno2". Ah, thefearofmissingout. Translation Help - Tommy - 03-08-2014 Guys, what is a "минбатареи", please? Mortar battery? Also, what position is this? "заместитель командира дивизиона по строевой части" Thanks! Translation Help - CtahhR - 03-08-2014 Mortar Battery is spot on. "Deputy Commander of the division (meaning section) of combatant parts" Combining the two in context it would be the deputy commander of mortar teams. Translation Help - Auke - 03-09-2014 Yes, mortar battery. I'd translate the second one as "deputy battalion commander for personnel affairs". Translation Help - Tommy - 03-12-2014 Hi guys, any help with this word would be appreciated.
The next word is шину i think. Cheers! Translation Help - Auke - 03-12-2014 It's probably supposed to be прострелил, "puncture, pierce". Translation Help - Tommy - 03-12-2014 Thank you Auke, I was thinking maybe прострелить, so your answer ties up with pierce or shooting through :) could i trouble you for your opinion on this word also?
The handwriting on this paragraph started of legible and towards the end goes a bit mushy! Cheers, Tom Translation Help - Auke - 03-12-2014 отступающий - retreating. |
