I think that's from the Airapetyan book 'Breast Badges of the Red Army 1941-45'. Good book! Igor sells 'em. (got mine on CDR)

Hi Eric,
Thanks for the tip. How can I be so stupid... I HAVE this book. It is on page 69, and page 70 shows some transitional badges, with "Rossia"... ;)
Thanks again.
Cheers.

G'day Paul,
Thanks for the 'happy snaps' of the СНТ Guards Badge. Have you purchased this badge? If you don't want it I would like to buy it......any chance? Thanks, again, for the great photos.
Best regards,
Jim

Guards Badges - Soviet - 11-02-2009
Strange one that #9!
Guards Badges - Komandir RKKA - 11-02-2009
Very late one, made of light metall and really looks strange and funny.
Guards Badges - Nota Bene - 11-11-2009
Yet perfectly genuine, either "Pobeda" or "FSZ" production.
